Hi I watched your video on this and thanks managed to fix my central locking from inside the car ie the button on the driver's side. Was just wondering do you have any advise or a video on how to sync my fob key to the car after a new battery has been fitted. Have not long had my Skoda fabia and the fob was not working and only one key as well am a little stuck how to sync the fob to the car any help well be appreciated thanks 👍

Couldn't a person cut the extra wide part of the cone off so that the cone was only as wide as needed to pass over the joint?

just did this and my neighbour happened to run by and, basically the spring appeared 1 cm too long, and I could attach one end. He pushed the trunk slightly passed its limit and the thing attached, but, this wasnt stated anywhere.

Yes I once spent 3 days and a thrombi later getting the ball joint in next time I’ll use your method,it’s worth mentioning not to pull the driveshaft out of the gearbox like I did on my brother’s car didn’t find out till the day after when it wouldn’t move 😂

Great little review. Thanks. Nice to see you testing too. Oh boy!!!! Rookie mistake with the wire!!!! So sorry that happened…. It is always an issue with mig welders. ALWAYS. Hold the wire until it’s under tension in the feeder..😊 I never take the paper or plastic off the wire spool until it is in the feeder and locked in.

I bought one and it was dead on arrival. Didn’t turn on. Got a replacement and that worked fine. My 0.8mm tip was too small for the wire to push out, so I had to enlarge the hole slightly. Works fine. The quick lock was a bit iffy. Would be nice to have a table for amp settings but I guess I’ll have to play by trial and error.

Great Harvey! I used SPUER GLUE BUT ALL PLASTIC VERSION for ABS and polypropolene. Works well too. Prob not as strong as your repair though but OK and quick!

Fancy buying my Skoda Fabia Estate Elegance 2006 with 185k miles...? It has dull headlight plastic, the doors unlock eventually after a few attempts, the boot eventually lifts with the hand lift sensor thing finally accepting your finger nudge, and back seat plastic pull down clip has come out... After you remove the plastic cover. Whats the black plastic bit called? Mine is missing and the washing fluid just runs down instead of spraying. New to find replacement.

Hi friend after 3 years😂 So..i did the same with my Passat 130 hp 1.9 TDi, but it end up with "check engin" lightning in dashboard , and "gas recycling system, outdated regulation" occurred as faults in ecu.

Your videos are invaluable, I just had to replace the rubber boost pipe that goes under the offside headlight. This helped me no end so I thank you very much for this 😊
